Take an excursion with ex-farmer David Westcott of the three farms now managed by his daughters, and be prepared for some good yarns and maybe a few tall tales along the way! A trip you will always remember. Only two people at a time so booking is essential.

  The Lorna Doone Hotel.
Doone's Restaurant makes use of the very best Exmoor ingredients, form local venison to Lynmouth lobster. The festival will see the launch of a new menu packed full of information and anecdotes about this beautiful part of Somerset. A special lunch and evening menu for the week will draw on local recipes. The Victorian Tea will be a reminder of a time long past, with our silver tea service and Blue Willow China.

Celebrate the beginning of the festivities with three of our best chefs. They will be demonstarting how to create wonderful and imaginative dishes with a real Exmoor flavour using the best local produce, while you enjoy a taste of Exmoor yourself with various foods and drinks to try. 2.00 pm - 4.30 pm.

at Andrews on the Weir.
Enjoy a five course Gourmet Mushroom Dinner at this excellent restaurant at Porlock Weir. Andrew himself has gathered the fungi from Exmoor to make this special dinner. The meal will be accompanied by an enteraining and interesting talk by Mike Leach, Exmoor Park Ranger, who taught Andrew all he knows about mushrooms.
